An iconic, family-owned, Canterbury business
Hendriks Master Blasters is a third generation, family owned business which had its humble beginnings almost 50 years ago. Hank Hendriks founded the company and started his business in 1973. He saw a gap in the market for the meticulous preparation of metal surfaces and products to transport and construction industries.
Hank’s sons and daughter all worked in the business alongside him. His daughter as a driver for many years.
Her inclusion in the company name, H.W Hendriks Sons & Daughter Ltd, was a bold and progressive acknowledgement that girls can do anything, at a time when not everyone believed this to be so.
Today, the next generation under the leadership of John Hendriks, is still committed to providing superior service, advice and workmanship.
“We can prepare any surface for painting and are experts in booth and mobile abrasive blasting, priming and coating. We offer a warranty on our products and services from 15 to 25 years so it's got to be good to last,” says John.
We don’t overlook our compliance responsibilities
We stay compliant with all current resource consent and health & safety regulations. Every blasting job we do, large or small, is carried out in accordance with the strict specifications of NZ Standard 23:12 for quality control and regulation.
Hendriks Master Blasters carries full public liability insurance. We can also apply for relevant local council activity consents on behalf of our clients wherever they may be located.
We have current Health & Safety policies and procedures on every job and partner with Upright Scaffolding for on site safety and Shrinkwrap for protection of projects from weather. Protecting you and your investment.
